About us
SIPSTAR.ch is a service of Globastar AG and was founded in 2014 with headquarters in Baar / ZG. The founding team has been active in Internet telephony and video conferencing for more than 10 years. The founding of Globastar AG was therefore the logical continuation of the experience, know-how and pioneering spirit gained from hundreds of projects in a new company and to secure it with the ongoing development of a new intelligent cloud telecommunications solution. Globastar AG is independent and is authorised and licensed for telecommunication services by the Federal Office of Communications OFCOM in Biel.
Hosted and developed in Switzerland
The virtual SIPSTAR telephone system runs on redundant systems hosted in our high-performance data centres in Zurich and Geneva. Our employees in our development centre in Rapperswil ensure the continuous and innovative further development of the solution. This ensures that the highest security standards are maintained and meets the wish of many corporate customers for a purely Swiss cloud solution.
